I like this game. But one of the main reasons why the game is too easy is because waffles dont avoid bigger waffles. Also bigger waffles should try to flip less because of the amount of syrup they lose. AFK waffles shouldn't be it's own behavior, but rather a random event for waffles, and they can't respawn until they are no longer afk. PLEASE add syrup counts to the leaderboard. And when a waffle spawns, they should take a second to react to their surroundings. These are suggestions that I think will make this game difficult and fun!
Oh and keep track of what names have been used

Zoom is a bit too low when you are small, try to have it like agar.io
also please just merge the syrup into bigger pieces
you said engulf the entire map, so i did, not a single spot where a bot- i mean other player can spawn without getting absorbed

you should make it so that if you click you do the flip things because right now apparently it’s the space bar and it would make more sense so that you can do the space bar or click. This would make it work on mobile anything besides that works really, really good.

easily got out of the map, you need even bigger hitbox and pushback system, also flipping the pancake spills A LOT which makes it a useless skill, maybe turn it down a little. nice game btw.

The game has just been updated to improve performance and nerf flipping (because it was a bit too easy).
This will improve performance for syrup, sound fx, your waffle, and other players (which are totally not bots (this is definitely real multiplayer(surely you need an internet connection to play)))
Edit:
The game has been updated again to make flipping slightly better, and now the boundaries + grid looks better when you eat the entire map.

Sorry about that! The web build was even worse than I thought. I have updated the web version to hopefully improve performance. Let me know if you can tell a difference!
